1. The seller
These terms apply to every purchase made on lewisjohnbroo.com. The seller is [LEGAL NAME], organisation number [ORG NR], registered office [REGISTERED OFFICE], VAT number [VAT NR], [ADDRESS], Sweden (“LewisJohnBroo”, “we”). You can reach us at hello@lewisjohnbroo.com or by telephone on [PHONE].
2. Products and series
Each product is released as a numbered, limited series. Each piece in a series carries a number, given in order of successful payment and recorded on the certificate that accompanies the piece. The number is disclosed only to the buyer. When the last piece in a series has been paid for, the series is closed and no further pieces from that series are sold.
Product images may be renders or photographs of samples. Natural materials such as leather vary in grain and colour, and the piece you receive may differ slightly from the images.
3. Prices and payment
All prices are stated in Swedish kronor (SEK) for delivery to Sweden and in euro (EUR) for delivery to other countries within the European Union. Prices include Swedish value added tax (VAT) at 25 % and include delivery. No further fees are added.
Payment is made at the time of ordering through our payment provider, Stripe. Available methods include card, Klarna, Swish, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Link, depending on your country and device. Klarna and Swish are subject to those providers’ own terms.
How an order is placed. Pressing Purchase on a piece’s page takes you to the checkout, where the piece is held for you. There you accept these terms with the box at the top. You then either pay with Apple Pay or Google Pay, where they are offered, choosing your contact details and delivery address in its payment sheet and confirming the payment there, or enter your details in the form, continue to payment, choose a method and press Pay; for Klarna or Swish, you then complete the payment with that service. Your order, with its obligation to pay, is placed when you confirm the payment in the sheet or press Pay. Until then you can correct your details in the form, with Change details, or in the payment sheet. The contract is concluded in English. We keep a record of every order, and the order confirmation we send you by email sets out its details. You can save or print these terms from this page.
An order is accepted when the payment has been completed and we have sent an order confirmation by email. If a series closes while your payment is being completed and no piece remains, the payment is refunded in full and we will inform you by email.
A piece is held for you for a short period while you complete checkout. If payment is not completed within that period, the piece is released.
4. Delivery
We deliver to Sweden and to countries within the European Union. Delivery is included in the price and is made by a tracked and insured service ([CARRIER]). We aim to dispatch within [DISPATCH TIME] of the order confirmation, and delivery is expected [DELIVERY WINDOW]. We will send tracking details when the piece is dispatched. Delivery is in any case made within 30 days unless otherwise agreed.
The risk for the piece passes to you when it has been delivered to you or to a person you have appointed.
5. Right of withdrawal
Right of withdrawal. You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason, in accordance with the Swedish Act on Distance Contracts and Off-Premises Contracts (lag (2005:59) om distansavtal och avtal utanför affärslokaler). The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you, acquire physical possession of the piece. You may also withdraw before the piece has been delivered.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us ([LEGAL NAME], [ADDRESS], Sweden, telephone [PHONE], hello@lewisjohnbroo.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement, for example a letter sent by post or an email. You may use the model withdrawal form on our Shipping & Returns page, but it is not obligatory.
You can also exercise your right of withdrawal online at lewisjohnbroo.com/withdraw, marked “Withdraw from contract here” at the foot of every page. If you use this online feature, we will send you an acknowledgement of receipt of the withdrawal on a durable medium (by email), including its content and the date and time of its submission, without undue delay.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal. If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery, without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the piece back or you have supplied evidence of having sent it back, whichever is the earliest.
You shall send back the piece or hand it over to us without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the piece before the period of 14 days has expired. Please return it to [LEGAL NAME], [RETURN ADDRESS], Sweden, with its certificate and, where possible, in its original packaging.
You will bear the direct cost of returning the piece, unless it is faulty.
You are only liable for any diminished value of the piece resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning.
6. Complaints
If a piece is faulty, you have the right to complain under the Swedish Consumer Sales Act (konsumentköplag (2022:260)). Complaints must be made within a reasonable time after you discovered the fault; a complaint made within two months is always considered made in time. The right to complain lasts for three years from delivery. Write to hello@lewisjohnbroo.com describing the fault, and we will arrange repair, replacement or refund as the law provides. We cover the cost of returning a faulty piece.
7. Disputes
If we cannot agree on a complaint, you may refer the dispute to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, ARN), Box 174, 101 23 Stockholm, www.arn.se. We undertake to take part in ARN’s proceedings. Swedish law applies to these terms. If you live in another country in the European Union, you also keep the protection of the mandatory provisions of that country’s law, and you may bring a dispute before the courts there or in Sweden.
8. Personal data
We process your personal data to fulfil your order and as described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The terms in force when you place your order apply to that order. This version was last updated on the date shown above.
